Not to be confused with the Endurance XC Racing forum, Enduro Racing is a type of racing usually done with All Mountain trail bikes and the races features different "stages" that the competitors race in. Predominantly marked by downhills, Enduro Races may have some uphills, but not like XC racing.
Endurance XC Racing is an XC race that lasts for 4, 8, 12, or 24 hours (or more) and require a high level of fitness for climbing. Endurance XC races have some downhill, but they are not DH oriented and the types of bikes used are light weight, short travel (or hardtail) bikes.
Enduro Racing is also a bit different from Super D races, but the bikes used may be similar. Super D races are characterized by a mass start, "Le Mans" style (participants start by running to their bikes) and are usually not done in stage. I'll leave it to the experts in the forum here to expound on these subjects and their subtleties.
