    SoCal Enduro Nov 11th

    SoCal Enduro - Nov 11th
The SoCal Enduro is one of the fastest growing new styles of racing in mountain biking. It takes the fitness of XC and combines it with the skills of Downhill. What you get is a super fun race that anyone can do! Please note this is not a downhill event. A DH bike probably isnt the right equipment to get the job done! On the other hand a typical 29r hardtail isnt the right equipment of choice either. The ideal ride is the 5-6 inch travel all mountain style bike that climbs as well as it decsends. My crew and I are already super busy building new trails for future races and maintaining the ones we have! For the third and final race of the year ( Nov 11th ) we will be changing up our format a bit for the enduro's. In the past weve used a mass heat style to release racers. For the last race of the year we are going to use individual time trial starts for the first 2 races of the day. However the third and final race of the day will be a seeded semi mass start. For the third race we will release 5 racers at a time per category for the third race only. We will put the fastest racers in each category together and let them go at it for the finals! For example if there are 20 racers in a category we will release 5 at a time for the final race of the day! We are super excited to be a part of this style of racing!

Is there a gps track of all the stages including the three climbs? Also, will the riders be seeded for the first two races?
    Thanks in advance. G

Are American Enduro races different than European ones? Seems there's a lot more XC type components to US races.

Unfortunately nobody is doing the European style of racing the US. We definitely need more hardcore racing here in the US.
