Just watched some clips from the race. Enduro is some sweet shit. Real trail riding on a bike you actually have to pedal uphill.

Sweet shit is right, but needs no shuttling!
Also one of these is Enduro, one is not, yet promoted as Enduro, the trail is wider and smoother than a babies bottom thats not Enduro, nor is practicing the shit out of it, Enduro is a pretty simple formatt, I just hope this gets sorted, it has a great future if it dosent get watered down.

Congrats to Martin Maes for his 4th place. Not bad for a 16 year old on a stock bike.

Enduro World Series is definitely the Big thing.
The only drawback from the first race is the they decided to publish the special stages 1 month before (due to economic reasons. One of the main sponsors of the first race is the local resort) and for me, Enduro should be racing blind or giving the opportunity to train the stages just one or two days before.
What do you think?
-
I mostly agree. It's a bit dififcult to make things 100% fair though.Local riders will always know the course a long time before the race and you can't do anything about it.
I'd definitelly ban shuttling for training purposes though. And to be honest I think that would put a bigger damper on people trying to memorize the course than anything else, especially on longer courses. Not a lot of people would be able to ride a course like Punta Ala (the complete version with all the stages) more than once a day for a few consecutive days without wearing themselves out.

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Crazy day out there. Ben Cruz down out of the starting gate. Clementz, Atherton and Barel all had flats/crashes on Stage 3. Awesome, awesome racing.
