I made it in! I can't believe it because I knew how much demand there was and only a limited number of spots. Whenever there is so much traffic all at once I feel like there is some amount of luck involved too. Selling out in 5 minutes or less is pretty impressive but to be expected. That has been the case with a few other nationally recognized events I've entered like a 24 hour climbing competition in Arkansas. Any other Kansans or Midwesterners doing the BME in Moab?

No, I didn't try. I was just checking out the BME site that night and noticed the Enchilada Enduro registration was opening so thought I'd share.

Congrats to those who got it in.

WTF? I raced last year and received no such priority. There were some seriously messed up shenanigans with this registration - Front Range pre-party with discounted rates, SOME races from last year getting pre-registration links (but not all), season pass early sales... VERY disappointed in the way BME ran this registration process. That said, I did get in at 7:01PM and am stoked to race.

Nice! There is some proper trail around Omaha. My girlfriend is from there so we end up driving from Lawrence, KS quite a bit to visit her family (and sample singletrack).

Really wish I could pull off another BME race this season. I will actually be in Taos a couple weekends after that event, eff!
