Perhaps you'd have better attendance if you named it the "Well Organized and Professionally Run Enduro" rather than the "Mayhem Enduro". If I ever host an event I'm going to one up you by calling it the "Shitshow Enduro".

Well played bad news, well played... My vote was for the Complete Catastrophe Enduro but somehow it wasn't picked, maybe I'll use your suggestion next year.

The name stems from the county in which the event is hosted...the original Muskingum Mayhem started as an Endurance ride 13 years ago but evolved into an Enduro style event last year.

Appalachia Outdoor Adventures (AOA) is an IMBA Charter club located in Southeast Ohio. We host and manage various events throughout the year, but our pinnacle event is in late spring, when we hold our main fundraiser for the year (the Mayhem). The money raised goes towards our trail fund to maintain over 50 miles of trial at 4 different trail heads in east / central Ohio

Think more All Mountain/Trail than pure DH- lots of flow and speed, but still requires some fitness and finesse. The transition trails feature a few nice rock gardens and some scenic climbs along highwalls overlooking lakes.

Last year there were 160mm trailbikes and 100mm Singlespeeds... both have advantages and all have fun!
