    Singlespeeders....Let's Talk Vermont 50

I can't wait for this years race!!!! I've raced the VT50 the last 3 years and have always run a 32x20. The last 2 years I've come in at 6:01. This year I'm hoping to break the 6 hour mark. As per usual, I'm agonizing over gearing choice.

What was your gearing and time previous years? Will you use the same gear this year? Will we get rained on yet again this year?

I went with a 33x20 and went pretty much without stopping more than 10 min total.
    I was a little over 5.5 hrs.
Next year I will go 33x19 or 32x18 for sure.
It was a blast, every one was super nice/cool.
I hope you beat your 6 hour mark on the perfect weather conditions.

Nice work!!! I don't have much fitness this year so I went with a 32x21 and came in at 5:17. What a fantastic weekend!!!

I saw a single speed full rigid finish under 5, not sure who it was though.
