What is your month before a big endurance race look like?
My taper used to be very unscientific, I just took the week off before the race and sat on my butt. However, this article really woke me up:

So I'd like to ask you all to share your various training plans about a month before the race. When do you do your biggest rides, two, three weeks away from the race? Do you start tapering down gradually? The week before the race, how often and for how long are you riding, and at what intensity? Any thoughts and insight are appreciated.
