    Nice 26 inch hardtail frame??

Looking at replacing the 4 inch 26 frame on my spare race bike for a light hard-tail. Anyone got any suggestions? Don't wanna go too overboard on price, something around the 1000-1500 euro mark.

    Cheers.

Scott still make awesome 26" hardtails. I'd say the Scale and the Cannondale Flash are the best 26" hardtails ever. They're probably too much money though. I think you're going to have to look for new old stuff. Like 2011 or older. Scandium is nice and cheap, usually under 600 dollars for good frames.
Salsa, Rocky Mountain, Kona, Voodoo, etc all made light aluminum frames that you can find cheap.

You do know that 1500 EU is almost $2000 US right?
I would say the sky is pretty much the limit for just a frame.

We should start a debate on suspension forks, disc brakes, and gun control.

I'm still on the fence about shoveling snow, is it better to the left, or to the right?

Look into a Yeti ARC. I think they run about $800.

I've had many. My favorites are a 2004-2005 Salsa Bandito. Scandium and super light. Currently have a Gunnar Ruffian (steel). Third choice would be a Klein Pinnacle ( Aluminum). Only reason i got rid of Salsa was i read too much about Al failures.
