Fools Gold 100 miler aid station mile markers

I can't seem to find this. I know details about drop 1 (just water), 2 and 3 are the same (fully stocked), and 4 is somewhere else (fully stocked). Then you loop again. I'd like to know at what mile these come up at to carry enough water. Also is there a good elevation profile?

Ideally I'd like something like this from SM100.
Mountain Bike Virginia - Shenandoah Mountain Touring - Mountain Bike Tours - Bike Virginia - Cycling Tours - Singletrack Tours - Bicycle Touring - Mountain Bike Touring

Here's the elevation profile from last year's race, It was around 11,600' of climbing. Aid stations are around 15 miles apart with great support, its a fun race with beer and a pool at the finish. How could you go wrong with that?Fools Gold 100 miler aid station mile markers-foolsgoldel.jpg

Looking at your profile, it looks like the climb starting at 30 is repeated at 70 or so. Is that true? Do you repeat the main first climb? I thought it was two almost identical looks but it looks as if you do the first 20 miles, then do two loops after that. I've never been up there to ride so I don't know the names of things. The website map was hard to understand.

Correct, you only do the big first climb once, then repeat the second half of the loop for the extra mileage if doing the 100 miler.

Thanks. Do you know the actual mile locations for the checkpoint for the 100 miler?

Thank you for posting the map and elevation gained.

In an effort to not create a separate thread just to ask this: How much single track vs. road (gravel / paved) can one expect in one 50 mile loop at Fool's Gold say in comparison to the Cohutta 100? Thanks!

The longer the ride - the better the pain
