Endurance racing at the shore, rust anyone?

So there's a local race at the shore but I'm concerned about rust development

The track it's half highway and half part sand path just over the beach

    Should I be worried?

Only if you don't thoroughly clean your bike afterwards.

I would be tempted to disassemble my bike after such a journey. Especially bolts and BB. Pull the BB and completely clean and re-grease the threads. Even if the frame isn't steel I think salt can promote galvanic corrosion.
