    Idea! Cohutta 100 Fully Rigid?

Has anyone done the Cohutta 100 on a full rigid bike and do you regret or are happy about the decision? The 14k feet of climbing with a lot of gravel roads make it seem reasonable to attempt this ride on a rigid. Thanks!

I've done Cohutta the last 2 years rigid and have no regrets. Compared to the Wilderness 101, Cohutta is like riding on asphalt.

I did it rigid last year. With the exception of going down the hill that you eventually come back up, it was super fast. That particular road had a lot of ripples in it.
