    Austin Rattler 100

Just wondering if anyone has done it and could give me a course description. I have been riding my rigid SS and was thinking of racing it but, I need to figure what gearing I should use. If anyone has a link to their Garmin or Strava data that would be awesome.

Small ring in front makes it easier. Small ring in back makes it harder. That blows my mind.

I used that google thing to answer the rest of my questions, you're right it is super cool! Looks like it will be rigid friendly...see you out there.

You will be fine. Smithville (rocky hill ranch) is super flowy. I've raced and ridden there for years.

Plus the rattler has some fireroad sections that are rigid friendly.

It's not technical or rocky like the greenbelt, but more rooty than anything. I don't know what you prefer, but my SS is geared 32x18 and can handle the course no problem.

Thanks for the info! I'll probably bring a couple of gears and ride the course the day before.
