anyone done the desert RATS race in Fruita

I am looking at doing this race for my first long race 100k. Anyone done it and have advice for a new guy?

I did it this year. Well run race. Some single track, double track, dirt roads, and a little paved road. Good early season race. I would do it again.

good race, course isn't very technical, great early season race though as said above. I may do it next year, I did it in 2011 but not this year.
