The Breck was is still on my bucket list but I will most likely do the Pierre's Hole for my "out west' race this year.

Have you done the Bailey before?

Yea...did the Bailey and Breck last year.
Bailey is very sweet rolling single track through Buffalo Creek trail system and the Colorado Trail, some jeep road as well. One of the quicker 100 mile races. I believe winner was 6:30

I really enjoyed both, but I would have to say that the Breck was the best.

Breck and Bailey are very different. Bailey is fast rolling (although the climbs add up) roller coaster type buff singletrack and dirt roads. Breck has those things, but it also has a lot of more technical terrain and longer climbs in the high alpine. You might have to cross patches of snow on loop one of Breck.

Going by the finish rate and the look on peoples face at the finish, Breck is certainly harder terrain wise.

Does anyone know the real reason why the PCP2P isn't affiliated with NUE this year? Their explanation on facebook didn't give much of an explanation.

I don't know specifically, the the relationships between race and series promoters can ebb and flow depending on a lot of things. Sometimes the race and series folks might butt heads and be unhappy about something or another and sometimes the series promoters just want to change things up to keep the series fresh.

Interesting. This is the first time I've seen the full schedule but I knew PH100 was pushed back a couple weeks so I was half expecting the Butte 100 to be added to the lineup. Hopefully they keep the Butte 100 sometime in late July/early August so I can suffer in both races.

Can you imagine doing them all? Would be fun to try. No time for me this summer--or money

I would have liked to have seen the Wildcat back (with all the issues addressed). I did enjoy the course, and that area of NY - wow beautiful towns and villages and landscape.
