Been hot enough for ya? Yeah, riding when it's 90 or 100 degrees is harsh. So how about coming to the 12 Hours of Humboldt or the 6 Hours of Humboldt mountain bike endurance event on August 10 where if it's a "hot day" it just might reach 70 degrees? The 8.7 mile course is in Redwood Park and the Arcata Community Forest and is almost entirely under the shade of giant redwood trees.
The 12 Hours of Humboldt goes from 8am to 8pm (no lights needed!) and is open to solos and teams of 2 riders or 3 & 4 riders.
The 6 Hours of Humoldt goes from 8am to 2pm and is open to solos and teams of 2 riders.
