    winter build-up complete (pics)

I just submitted my Truth database setup info, now for the good stuff, here are some pics of my completed build-up. I've waited a long time for this to come together and I love this rig so far (previous rig was a light-wt. Klein Adept w/ avid mechs). I had the chance for a nice shake-out ride last weekend on the Gorge 400 trail (OR).

    Enjoy,
    T-Rex

Right now I have it set to the max, 130mm, I need to play around to dial in what feels best still.

Won't that 130mm void the warranty since Ells only recommends 80-105mm? Seems like a bit much with 4 ins in the back. I have a 100mm on mine and the front washes out more than I'd like. I'd be cruious to know how it handles.

    Too much fork...

    T-Rex,
Sweet ride but Crash dummy is right; that fork DEFINITELY voids your warranty (your dealer should have stated this; it is also on the white sticker on the back of the seatube). The max is as stated, 105mm; any taller, no warranty.
I would remove it and install something appropriate for the frame; F100 or something like it...good luck -

It's a TALAS, I think he'll be OK...besides, the 105mm Marzocchis probably have the same A to C as the Fox products at 125mm!

The TALAS is NOT approved for the Truth as it is a fork with more than 105mm of travel. Trust me, the TALAS voids his warranty...

We will not install a TALAS on a Truth frame.
