Id Rear derailleur housing "grommet at rear triangle

    Hey folks,

Just picked up a 2006 Id frame.

I am trying to run the cable housing for the rear derailleur. It looks like
it enters the top of the right rear triangle. It seems that my frame
is missing a grommet or other piece that would hold the cable housing
in place and allow a bare cable to enter the rear triangle, then exit into
a cable housing in the bottom

Any ideas or pictures what this rear grommet looks like?
No help from Ellsworth, they strangely have little info on a bike they built 6 years ago.

I am only guessing, but when disc brakes where new they had a drop in style cable stop that would slide into the brake hose holder to convert it to a cable stop so you could us v-brakes. I would start with some thing like that. Or try a barrel adjuster from a road bike cable stop or the tip off of a v-brake noodle.
Universal Cycles -- Jagwire Mickey Cable Adjusters
Universal Cycles -- Ritchey Rocket Index Adjusting Barrel
Universal Cycles -- Jagwire 5mm Alloy Housing Stops - Black
anyways that is where I would start. Let us know what you figure out.

You can run a full housing on the outside of the seat stay
Thanks to the previous poster those ideas will work if the OD is big
Enough. I ended up machining a little piece that works
    Post pics later.....

That is a great looking Epiphany. How long have you had it?
What is the build, how much does it weigh?

I'm the second owner although it seemed all brand new (less than 200 miles) before I started scratching it up a week ago. The builder Claimed 26.2 lbs. and I measured the same, it's up to 29.5 with water, tools, and spare tube.
Magura Marta SL 180mm/160 rear hydraulic disk brakes
Fox TALAS RLC - FIT damper 150mm/130/110 this fork is so cool!
Rockshox MC3 float/gate/locked also very nice.

Are you referring to my bike? If yes, I bought it at my LBS. It is show in the Ellsworth website and should be available in Ellsworth stores.

Thanks, I took it out on my go to test trail yesterday for a shake down and it was amazing. I normally ride a 42lb Bottlerocket so it was a world of difference. Weighed in at 33lbs 1oz as it sits so that with the ICT made climbing a breeze. Downhill portions and jumping were no comparison either.

I only made 2 compromises (price) with the build, seat post and headset, and I knew right away that they need to be replaced. Everything else performed amazing, it's a 2010 frame but with refreshed bearings and the new build it rides like a brand new bike.
