I see that some have mounted piggy back shocks the other way. Don't know if it would help enough, or if there's good reasons not to do it.

    Good job! Ellsworth Moment REDRUM

Here are some more images of a Ellsworth Moment; and sorry guys, hate to do this to all of you, but this is by far the sickest build I have yet to see! Nicknamed the REDRUM by Ellsworth, and tattooed as such on the underside of the down tube, this bike is officially not being built by Ellsworth. This according to a friends friend that grouped up with our weekly ride yesterday. The pictures were snapped by me on the sly while the bike was still on the roof rack with my handle little canon. I also managed to get a couple pics when it was off-loaded. Nonetheless, I thought I would share these images. From the looks of it it is complete XO with Loaded wheels, hubs, bars, and seat post.

    Enjoy

Isn't this just a Black Ano Moment with kit upgrades? With a little stitch work of Redrum on the down tube?
Looks awesome but I don't understand how this is "not being built" by Ells????

Wink Seat Post on Ellsworth Moment REDRUM

You think, dude ended up using a seat post and seat from another bike for the session; that seat post needs to see the business end of a hacksaw!

That redrum is not even close to the "sickest ever." First, it's standard anno finish. I thought the redrums were supposed to be "murdered out" flat black. This one looks glossy in the pic. MAYBE if it was flat, it'd be cooler. A great build? Yes. Sickest ever? Na. I still think the toughest part of building a clean Ellsworth anything starts with the chain and seat stays. All ellsworth stays are black so any color triangle you pick outside of black automatically makes the bike two toned. Black is an easy out cause the bike is uniform by default. Show me a great build using the hard to work with two toned scheme. Or better yet, custom pain it to match.

    Here's mine :

Next update will be a matching CK BB, a beefier front tyre (2.5 instead of 2.3), and maybe a Chromag stem and bar later on

Nice Moment!!! Just want to ask if you had an issue with the Floating Rotors rubbing the lower part of the Fox 36 Fork. Specifically on the Caliper mount.

    Thanks!

Indeed. Had to remove some paint from the fork to accomodate it.
The CK hubs are a bit too wide ( same issue with i9 hubs)

Misread your question, i think its 27.2 but the SST.2 is different, think that is 30.9
