Did you think about the new Kona Hei Hei 29? I am really stuck between the two. The 72.5% head angle concerns me on the Ellsworth. Even the Evolution is 72%.
The Niner bikes are going more slack and Ells is going the other way.

I just like the way it rode.... I don't know what the head angle means to me...

reason why I asked is a shop told me lifetime....I bought it from a different shop...then I was looking over the catalog and it said two years. Oh well

I have heard that if you break the frame beyond the two years that they will work with you on a replacement part at a good price. Also, several people around here have Ells that they have punished and never had any problems. They are supposed to be built very well.

I hope so for $2500 (Frame only) it had better be built.(very well)

Yeah I am sure it will hold up for years to come...I am just set back a little...knowing that it is not lifetime.

That frame is a work of art!

I just ordered a pink 2011 Evolve for my wife. The dealer was awesome and threw in black rockers and bling kit for no extra charge.

    Enjoy it man.

Rides really balanced and comfy w/out PP on the uphills...and really sharp on the downhills!!!

A little hard to lift front wheel cause of long back end, but I guess helps w/ stability at speed...

super fun singletrack screamer..."can't wipe smile from face" good !!!!

Incredibly light Loaded components, if alittle flexy wheels esp. rear, but again super light,
frame stiffness of the charts, esp front w/ oversize headtube and 15 mm axle...

"lifetime" warrenty on a frame means lifetime of the frame, not your lifetime...pretty common misconception. Most manufacturers designate the lifetime of a frame to be somwwhere in the 3-5 year range. That being said, I have heard stories of companies really going above and beyond.
