The Oracle featured in Outside Magazine

I was perusing through Outside magazine yesterday, and came across a blurb and picture of the upcoming $10K Oracle. Come on Ells, the first picture (that I'm aware of anyway) of this insane new bike, and it's in Outside magazine?...
Would be great if you could post some pics for the Ellsworth faithful here on MTBR.

    Too funny...

I was discussing this with my wife about how it was $10k and whatnot and I said to her that they'll market the bike in Outside or Adventure or Men's Health as the most blingy bike you can buy and some overpaid, undersmart Alpha male type will buy it, whereby it will sit in his garage with his six cars and Supermodel wife.

    Sure enough, there it is...

    nah a Ti Epiphany.

At that price you could just ride it for the season throw it away and buy a new one.

I'm very curious about those carbon wheels. Anyone know their weight? Or the weight of the complete bike?

Yeah, those wheels are pretty hot; weight yet to be published as there are only a few in existence and actual production numbers/weights/cost are still being ironed out (or so I'm told).

    Stay tuned....

I think those carbon wheels are "vaporware" still.

It is indeed a sexy looking bike. Not at all putting a dampener on this thread. I spend big bucks on bikes. I still dont think it looks 10K USD worth though. Not that I know what my expectations of 10K USD mtb are like. Hope that makes sense....

My Id I feel, had the best of the best bits, and I think it looks better, once again, just an honest thought.... i wanted a Ti Ellsworth, nothing available when I wanted one. So went with a Ti ExoGrid MotoLite, it still makes my tummy tingle seeing it. As my Id did, but the Oracle doesnt....

Sorry for the rant, trying to give an honest perspective. it would still be a hot ride.

Miss my Id, Oso is thrashing it, which is a great thing.... Still the best AM frame form Ellsworth in my humble opinion................
