... and if we just ... My First Ells (pics)

I just ordered my first Ells, 2008 Moment in Smoke. I am so excited I cannot take it, it should be here in a couple of weeks . I guess they are in the process of building the chain stays for some moments.

pretty sweet to think they are being made right now, it isn't just sitting in a shop waiting to be picked up.

I will post up Pics later, just wantes to share the joy.

You'll love the Moment, one of the all time great trail bikes. Love mine.
"[SIZE="3"][SIZE="2"]but I do not see anything in the world of suspension methods that is superior to the 4 Bar.

    Smile Congrats

Owning an Ellsworth is a lot like dating Jessica Alba, It will make you stop looking at other (bikes/women) at least for a while. Jim

I hope so, it was consuming my life, all i wanted to do is build up bikes online and compare different bikes.

SO glad that is over for at least a couple of months.

I will definitely have some pics when I get it.

It will be about 2 weeks I think, I order up an X9 kit with a Talas 36 RC2, DHX Air, and some of the Ells AM wheels. I hope it comes in around 33-34 lbs.

    It should be a beast.

    (sorry about the massive pictures)

I took it out for the virgin ride and laid it down. ouch first battle scars.

The bike rides very smooth and the suspension is very active.

Man, thats a nice bike, Ellsworth is much better than most manufacturers when it comes to detail. You built up the best moment I've seen to date. Sucks you crashed her already.

Hmmm , I may have to eat my words regarding my initial skepticism towards Ellsworth wheelsets . The Hubs and spokes look well made . I must say that bike in its smoke finish makes my previously bad ass black Moment, just look like a plain old black bike .

Maybe a fancy saddle like that will update it's looks , are those saddles available for sale ?

Yeah, I tried to order the plain grey at first but they were all out and said they would not me making them for a few weeks so I thought this color might be fine, now I love it.

The wheels are also very nice, I feel like an Ells whore but I really like thier attention to detail and the price was right. I am sure they sell the seats, I remember seeing them for sale on their website awhile back so if you do not see them now just give them a call. They are nice and have Ti rails so I am sure they a a tad lighter than some normal saddles people run.

Was that seat some purchased bling or was it standard? I like it.
