    Moment in Print

The latest issue of Decline Magazine did a write up of the Moment. 6-pack was done also. I would really like to see one of the Mags do a honest shoot-out between the 2 when similarly equipped.
    Nothing to see here.

Looking at the specs, the 6-pack seems to be a heavy duty 5-spot with higher BB and an inch more travel. Or a super burly Id with slower steering and a dropped TT for better Standover. Or a Moment with higher BB.

All these bikes are so close in spec to each other. It seems the only way to truly sort it out is to try them all. I wish there was a Netflix type service for frames. A different frame every month or two delivered to your door. Yes, I'm a dreamer.

Personally, I'd love to see a version of the Dare with a steeper HT and a couple pounds lighter, or a slightly longer travel Moment. I like adjustability of the Id with a full Talas set up, but the short stroke of the shock leaves me wanting a bit more travel at the rear.

Sure, they liked both frames because the manufactures had big full page adds in the same issue!

    Ellsworth Test Rides

It is possible to test ride an Ellsworth if your local dealer does not have one built up. Ell's customer service told me once that they have built bikes that they can ship to Ellsworth dealers so you can do some test rides. They just need some time to arrange for it.
