Son of a gun ! I was admiring that exact frame yesterday !

Back here in the Phil there seems to be a trend growing , people are getting rid of their epis and motolites for moments .

    Charles,

Welcome to the club, nice frame ! Mukhang mapapadalas Tagaytay natin . Fox 36 na lang ! and a 2.1 for the rear .

    Hi Leo,

Yup, you were there when my moto is being dismantled... I will not be alone now in Titus in a jeep full of ellsworth when we will go to Tagaytay again.

I'm trying out this manitou nixon of Boy, they are still out of stock of fox 36. I might get fox van 36, but still thinking as if I will get fox van 36, I will change my rims, while if manitou nixon (6 in travel), I can retain my ck hubs and it is much more cheaper. Will see after few rides with nixon....

Ha ha ha ! I did not mean it that way( Other bike brand converts and not just Moment owners ). In fact you can own the club ! Your Epi is still mega pimping !

Taking nothing away from the Epi , am sure its a super bike. I am just pointing out the new bikes ( not first time FS riders) we see on our local trails are Moments .

Hmmm the best analogy I could think of comparing the bikes in laymans terms is comparing the bikes to women - The Epi is like a slim and svelte supermodel , the Moment is like a playboy bunny - both are fun to have around ( waiting in the garage )

It makes me happy seeing more ellsworths in sta. rosa. at least we're gaining ground on the titus people on the trails i love my epi, no doubt. but i notice that my epi feels lonely at home, an additional moment in the stable won't hurt. you should know right?

if the epi is a supermodel, the moment is a playboy bunny, what analogy can you think of for your truth? cheers man!

1.95 seems like a pretty small tire on the 6 inch bike

    Hi,

Thanks. I will replace my rear tire to 2.1 at the back and 2.3 at the front. This is my setup with my trail bike.

They have 2.3 nevegal in the shop . I use a 2.1 rear and 2.3 front , it works out really good.

A while back, someone had mentioned about the QR clamp possible hitting the carbon brace on the Moment. I happened to check on my med 06 Moment when I was switching out the shock (so the frame fully collapses) and it will not hit the clamp. It also wasn't an issue on my medium Epiphany. Keep in mind, that this was on a medium frame. I don't know about the small size. I'm currently waiting for my 08 Moment to come in to replace the 06!
