Just got a EVOLVE frameset...

I say frameset because the frame came with a Fox fork, and the original wheelset...excited to build this biatch :-)

question: I took apart the rear hub and the 6902 wheel bearings are fine, the freehub not so much...one was dry and the other was greased but hurting. So I will replaced both bearings of course. My QUESTION is...STAINLESS STEEL??? are you kidding me?

The axle and the freehub body are heavy beyond what is the norm...How about an upgrade to these parts??? Any AL. compatible freehubs out there? along with an axle?

I will true these wheels, tubeless the hell out of them with RoRo 2.25's....should look great.

anyway....EVOLVE TIPS would be appreciated....LC(cheers)

PS: 1X10, carbon here and them...will it be 26lbs?

Its done and sold...my buddy loves it!

1X10 with XT shifting....XT brakes as well...RoRo 2.25 tires are large on the Ellsworth wide rims, great traction. Shimano PRO post/stem/bar. SLX cassette, 520 pedals.

It built for strength, no wieght stuff here :-)

Soaks up everyhting and has a stable pedal platform - if I fit this frame I would have kept it as the perfect trail bike! OR 24hr event, marathon, sooo comfortable.
