    Help Me Price My Truth

My best friend wants to buy my 2001 Truth. It has two seasons on it and has full M900 XTR, King hubs and headset with Bonty ceramic rims and a 2008 Fox F100 fork. Just put on some Conti Vertical Pro's and a new WTB seat post.

It does have a ding in the top tube from the brake lever and a tiny ding in one of the stays, other than that it's in great shape. I'm the original owner. Obviously I want him to get a good deal but I don't know what it's worth. Any help?

Here's the last pic I took of it:

As a general rule, I dont sell expensive things of mine to friends because I like to keep them as my friends.

If its in excellent condition - 66% of the original value.

The aftermarket parts don't hold value nearly as well - Id say somewhere around 50% of their original value.

i'd price it at about $1500. you could monitor the classifieds and fleabay for a while, but...

about $500 for parts, $500 for wheels, and $500 for fork. the frame is iffy, since it is a 2001.

this way, if your friend cracks the frame next week, s/he will still be your friend
