apparently Tony is out of gas and has sold the company. Hopefully the new owners can put the ship out of the bottom of the ocean.

Is this for real? Where did you hear this? Who bought the company?

Tony would actually rather be racing Porsches, than tinker with a bike company. I heard this too, but cannot find anything to substantiate this rumor.

Yeah this is hard to believe. I have met tony a few times and he seemed really stoked about bikes. He wasn't a great salesmen he was more interested in talking about the tech side of things. This was a long time ago though when ellsworth was doing a bit better.

That's incredible--the press release makes it seem that they'll start making CF bikes in San Diego...would be sweet if true.

It sure seemed something was up when they sold off the aluminum manufacturing business ~2 years ago...

I hope that they get their pricing in line with the marketplace, I think EB is losing market share and dealers.

I am actually really excited about a company that thinks it can compete against foreign made carbon fiber. Came across this on my face book this morning.
