Azonic Saber, my XC bike. I'm actually selling both bikes, the Saber and Dare so I can have just one bike, a new Joker. I just placed an order for it today!!

I think they look better with a polished rear end. I dont mind the generation X tribal tatoo on the front though...

    Sweet Dare!

Ellsman, that's the baddest Dare I've seen yet. I like the fact that you have triples on there instead of a chain guide. Reminds me of mine when it was new! Whistler should be a freaking blast!!

I'm getting my new '04 Joker (kit) Monday, and I can't wait to hit Brian Head, UT, Moab (Porcupine Rim), and one day travel to Whistler. In the meantime, I'll ride the local trails in Bootleg Canyon... Ride on!!

The 04 Dare has a larger front triangle it seems. Am I the only one who think the 03 frame with a more tighter front triangle looks better?

    Hey, Sugardare!

Thanks, for the compliments!! I switch between triples and singles.. Depending on what im doing. When doing DH i have a MRP Worldcup i use. Rt. now im just trying to get used to the Dare slack headtube with the 888... Im thinking of using the Lowrider crowns from Go Ride.com to drop my head tube down where it should be. So, my steering isnt so slow.. I also am waiting on a Hopey dampener for it.. And the Juicy 7 DHs if they ever come out..
Jeez.. Half the year will be gone by the time they release the damn things..LOL My Magura Gustavs rock though.. Just a bit heavy.. My 04 Dare weighs 38.8lbs as is.. Not too bad.. Anyways.. Its cool to see other riders Dares on here! They are all cool!! Hope, more post here, so allof us can see all the different set ups!!

By the way, I have ridden Bootleg Canyon, during the INterbike on dirt show last October! Was pretty cool..Will be there again for INterbike04 again!! Enjoy the ride!!! (Always wear a helmet!)

    Good job!

ELLSMAN, good to see you finally got the frame. I remember you were tossed up between waiting or getting something else a "few" months back.
I'm sure it was worth the wait

My buddy's 04 came in a few weeks ago, will post a pic of his tomorrow

I wasn't happy with the "basement" pic our bikes belong on the trail, and that's how they should be pic'ed

    2002 Ellsworth Dare

Hi all. Waited some time to post this as it wasn`t finished until yesterday. I`ve gone with a more allroundish build as you can see with the freeride-chainstays, dual rings up front and the Z150. The 50mm Bonty-stem is at spot number one on the change-list. painfully short for any kind of enduro-activity where pedaling is involved. Other than that it`s a fine bike.

    Good job!

sweet set up.... my buddy tossed around the idea of using the z150sl on his new "03 Dare (which should be in next week, BTW ) but we found a take off sherman plus, and the price was right

I bet that thing rides PRIMO on the trail

Thanks TT. Haven`t really taken it out to the trails yet, just tooling around in the urban landscape since i got it together. A onepointfive headtube with a Breakout+ would be sweet. But all-in-all a nice bike.
