New question here. Can you still get the Isis anymore ?

I know Ellsworth don't make them anymore but i find them great as an allround XC bike and i'm looking for a large to make up my set for hire bikes. I have a small and a medium.

    Anyone know ?

(i'm in Europe by the way)

    Thanks

i've been riding bikes for my whole life - freestyle, bmx, vert, road racing, triathlon, mtb (downhill, super-d, cross-country), freeride, gpv, you get the picture.

I have never broken a frame. as long as a bike frame is built reasonably well, you shouldn't break it. if you have a problem w/ snapping frames, i'd take a look at your riding style/skills. think "smooth" and "flow"....

i've had my moment for about 6 months now and it is by far the best suspension bike i have ever ridden (in the past, my stable has included a v10, enduro pro, and a dirtbag). it's so good, i'm seriously thinking about ditching the dirtbag.

    the moment is absolutely amazing.

Hi, maybe i didn't explain that too well ? I haven't broken my Isis i just want to know if there are any still around in shops ? I already have a small and a medium and i'm looking for a large. I want to use them as Hire bikes in the Alps this summer.

    Thanks

They don't manufacture the bikes any more. I have seen a few Distance frames here and there (the last one was at Orange Peel bikes in Steamboat Springs, CO - you might contact them and see if they will send it to you, if they still have it). Some dealers might have some stock but you'll need to start shopping around. You should probably start with your local Ellsworth dealer to see what kind of stock they can find.

Thanks, if you were in Europe, great but i think the shipping etc might be a little prohibitive.

    Appreciate the thought though
