Bonking ... not feelin' well Broken Joker?!?!?!?!

Hello, just bought a Joker frame from Cambria for the xc rides(compared to my sluggish bighit for dh) and don't know much about Ellsworths. But, yesterday when riding it off of a 1 foot drop on a local trail I heard a huge crash and looked down to realize that there were cracks surrounding the welds where the bolt for the swingarm goes through the main frame. I'm extremely disappointed by this! I've always thought Ellsworths looked like really nice bikes but then got one and this happens! What is up with that!!! Anybody else have similar experiences?Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Any follow-up resolutions? Did Ellsworth warranty cover the loss?

Ellsworth was very good about replacing my swingarm when it broke. I suppose its good that they replaced it, but it seems that alot of joker owners have had to deal with the same problem. When I called, I was told that it is not a common problem nor ever had been. I was also refused an upgrade to the newer style swing arm (my joker was an 02). I dont really know or care if they were lying to me when they acted like I was the only person to ever break a joker but after my Dare is trashed i think its time to try a La Bruja.

I have the new 7" joker and it has a redesigned swingarm and it is supposed to be stronger.
The 02 and older jokers have the weaker swingarms. My joker is for sale and it has a sweet parts spec. mail me for info mel_forgues@hotmail.com

Good one! Not the time and place I guess. I do like the bike though.
