I'd just like to know what stage they are in with development. Thinking? Drawing? Proto?

Wow, 4 weeks since the last response and we are already looking for updates?
( I like it!)
Still in the drawing phase here.
We have the geo dialed and are just putting the pieces of the puzzle together in Solid Works.
Everything is on track.
Thanks again for checking in on me,

Thank you for taking the time to post David.
Care to share some of those initial geo #'s?
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Project FR180
I'm sure whatever initial geo we use, it will be tweaked slightly after initial prototyping.
So there's no reason yet to throw numbers out there yet.
BUT>>>
I will say this.
If you take the top 10 single crown 180mm travel bikes out there, you will see a successful geometry pattern that emerges.
Expect us to follow the pattern
Regarding time line>
It is slated as a 2012 model
This bike will not be released until it's 100% dialed. (No compromises)
The first "look" should be in spring 2011
Also, since this is a ground up re-design, it will loose the Rogue name. When designing new bikes, they receive a "project name" until this bike receives its final name.
This project's designation is FR180
I hope this helps.
Thanks
David

Thanks David.
Liking what I'm hearing thus far. I'll assume a proto will be making a debut at the Otter.
Appreciate you taking the time to post.
Happy holidays to ya

Having had another two weeks in Morzine this summer and plenty of downhill in the UK plus some epics (120km in 2 days) as well as the 8-9 hours regular riding each week all on the Rogue, can I just say PLEASE don't change it too much (if at all).
It's THE best bike I've ever ridden (I've had 2 Rogues now - I had one of the first in the UK, then replaced with another last year having ridden the first one into the ground).
It's one sweet machine: Jack Reading is riding Ellsworth because I couldn't shut up about how good the Rogue was! (He had to have one and loved it too!!!)
How can you improve on it??????
Cheers
Adey
