    Yet another Super-D question.

I read somewhere on Sirbikealot that they won't be doing (promoting?) Super-D in 2012. I'm out of the loop with Super-D given I have yet to race it and have spent most of my time in the Chico XC camp.

Next year, I want to start pointing my bike down a bit as well as up. Can anyone share some info to get into the Super-D loop for whats on the plate for 2012?

    Thanks!

Nobocy knows yet, Sirbikealot will not be promoting Ocup DH next year and nobody seems to have stepped up to fill that void yet. While a DH series will still likely happen for 2012, I would not hold my breath for a new promotor attempting to run a Super D series as well.

You never know. Bids are going in to the OCA right now and I know at least one of the guys is "fun" enough to consider throwing in Super-D as well. I never got the impression from Peter that running the Super-D was a huge amount of extra work and since he needed to rent the timing equipment for the whole weekend anyway, it gave him a way to spin a little revenue out of it on Saturday.
Please enjoy seeing this terrible collection of me - something wonderful is about to happy.

I specifically was planing on doing the Super D series next season... me plus another guy, and who knows how many other "yeah I'll come out and try it 'cause you guys are already going" people would join in.

Can we please not let it die? kthx

I'm just going to +1 this.

If there's any place I can get involved to help make it happen for next year I'd love to know who I should get in contact with either for support or to offer to volunteer services between runs kinda thing.

I'd hate to see a discipline get dropped.
