Yeah, I am beyond disgusted with the weather by now. While I do love the indoor setup I have at home, I really need some sunshine and outdoor riding for my mental well being. It is getting a bit depressing ...

I think I'm in a legit depression due to the weather.
Brand new MTB I can't ride.
And a fully prepped MX race bike I just threw $3000 in to (never mind the new gear for the season) and 2 weeks from race season and we're still dealing with snow... So I'm in the +$5000 range for things I've paid for in the last couple of months that I should be enjoying that I can't.
So tired of indoor work outs that I can't get my ass in to the gym either.

I thought it was well understood that spring and fall in Southern ON were for road riding. Apart from the severe wind at times, temperatures have been ideal for nice long road rides. I have also been hitting two outdoor skate parks and riding some urban assault stuff too. There are several posts in here from people trying to find some dirt. I don't think you can ride anywhere without causing trail damage the way things have been. I am itching as much as anyone, but get out there and pedal around anywhere else.

Agreed about the road riding. As much as I'm itching to hit the trails I know it's still a little wait yet. That being said I've been enjoying the extended "road riding season" and have done a fair bit of exploring and found some really nice road routes in my neighborhood I never knew about.

Well, that didn't live up to the media hype. Again.

I am so glad it was nothing, but that wind is crazy. Need a kite tied to my MTB that might make road riding doable.

Lots of mature trees down in my end of town. Power out in parts of Ancaster. I was up around 4AM (for work reasons) and the wind was unlike anything I've seen here!
Please enjoy seeing this terrible collection of me - something wonderful is about to happy.

Had to shovel the walkways in to the clinic at work today. Was almost knee high when I started. Got to the end of it and had to start over at the beginning. Can't believe how much snow we've had! And it's still falling.

The trails up here won't be ready for clean up until the last week of April or first week of May as far as I can tell.
