They don't all have names but some do. They're more nicknames than genuine terms for reference.

When I got my first Misfit, 29ers were still rare enough to draw a crowd. A friend in Michigan took one look at it and said "Well that's big and evil!". Hence, it's known as The Big Evil.
Please enjoy seeing this terrible collection of me - something wonderful is about to happy.

only when I crash and it really really hurts,

or sometimes I flat a long way from home, or when I break the derailleur hanger like I did last week up it Iroquois Heights discovering some new old trails.

No, I don't name my bikes.

I'm not going deeply into the onomastics of such a schema, but I must say I am deeply concerned for your well being.

For what it's worth, all my car's had names too, and past bikes.

    Current cars:
1990 Volvo 240 wagon = "Violet" AKA = "The Swagger Wagon"
    1990 Volvo 240 Sedan = "Veronica"

    Old bikes:
01 Jamis Dakar Sport = "The Tank"
OK, so it's a motor bike but..
    81 Yamaha SR250h = "The noble Steed"
    78 Yamaha DT178 = "shredder"

    Old cars:

94 Acrua Integra GSR = "The teG"
91 Honda CRX Si = "frogger"
95 Oldsmobile Cutlass = "The Duke"
    96 Volvo 850 R = "The Turbo beast"

So, lots of my **** has names. IDK why, I just name stuff, I form an attachment with my junk. Hell all my guns have names too haha

"Hey, I need some shift cable for "The Tank" so I'm just going to hop in "The Turbo Beast" and get some at the LBS. I'll be back in time to meet the gang at the Tim Hortons and go for a ride on "The Noble Steed.""

    Really?

    Really?
I could have if I owned all the aforementioned items at the same time in real life. I never did sadly, otherwise that would sound like a fun day of errands!
