    Whats everyone do?

Just curious what everyone does for a living?

I've been in IT for 15 years, currently a SQL Server DBA in Beamsville Ontario. I've done techie/sys admin stuff, been a developer, but the Database Admin role works for me.

What kind of a mix do we have on here?

I work in the design department for a major design/build contractor, specializing in steel building construction. We build everything from 4,000 square foot professional offices to 400,000 square foot industrial facilities. And, as the name suggests...I do some event photography, although not so much any more.

I could tell you... but then I would have to kill you.

    Cool...

    Want an apprentice?

I found some summer camp type thing for explosives training. Nevada desert, explosives experts, and a bunch of big kids pressing the button. Basically, got to spend a week blowing crap up. It was weird, yet some how tempting. I tried talking my manager into sending the IT dept out for the week as a team building exercise.....she didnt go for it

I employ a multitude of professionals in the auto retail sales/service/parts business and socialize with customers. Occasionally I will complete other tasks from picking weeds to traveling overseas as necessary.
