Wandering through Home Despot saw 3/4's of the work stand solution. Amazing what one can potentially come up with. Now just need to come up with a base plate.

And it all begag with a freebie.

Not that you would notice, I guess, but they've expanded the XC loop, the beginner area and the big pump track and added a "street" room. It just keeps getting better!

    I have a few plans for this year;

JoyRide - went for the first time last week with my riding buddy. Loved it! Will be returning.

Blue Mountain - will rent some DH bikes and see if we can make it down in one piece ... a few times.

(Bike) camping at Albion Hills - researching as we speak. Might make an extracycle-ish cargo bike or trailer and actually ride there, too. Or maybe not, dunno yet.

Need a few more bits and pieces, but i'd also like to have all 4 bikes running without swapping parts. I want to spend less money and time swapping/building and get out more and enjoy ... everything!

So yeah, that's the plan. Starting off 2013 on the right foot with only 1 bike in pieces.
    I ..... need ..... DIRT!!!!!

    ... and cookies.

So far, our winter plans are working out splendidly. Two days of snowshoeing on the weekend with a little early Sunday morning visit to Joyride for good measure.

Theo hits the teeter for the first time.

Testing to see if inhaling Roxul increases red blood cell count, boosts metabolism, and triples testosterone levels.

that stuff is healtheir than fibreglass and its made in milton !

did someone say bike camping ? i noticed that mec's closing out a bunch of bike bags right now...i've been lurking in the bikepacking forum lately, dreaming of summer...some crazy things going on in there.

riding plan: ride the hell outta the cx, try out the set of 26er nokian studded tires i just got...non-biking: use my snowshoes i got for xmas, and find a pair of 3-pin boots so i can finally do some xc skiing...oh and a few days of winter camping sometime in february (which would be awesome to do on a fatbike).
...a truly skeptical position would be a very uncertain one.

Conditions off-road have been really good on the trails so far. I think the current thaw is going to make them messy for a little while, hopefully we get a good freeze again soon.

Plans for winter are to try and keep commuting into work on the bike. I don't have any studded tires so I'll avoid snowy days and days where the weather is just too crappy.

And go for as many rides as possible!

Cullen Gardens / Heber Down Winetr Ride

Had an absolute blast today riding 14km's in Cullen Gardens / Heber Down. I dusted off my old school no suspension, no studded tires, Look winter beater for this adventure. Only crashed three times as I hit some snow covered icy spots. but no harm done. I am fairly new to the winter riding scene and have been loving it this year.what is your riding plan for winter. any plan!-whitby-20130126-00014.jpg
