    Training for Kids

Anyone know of any organized training for a 12 year old girl who wants to get into mountain biking. She would like to ride with her Dad, which is great in itself, but I would like her to have some formal training of the basics. ( She would like to work up to the 8X12 long course, starting with the kids race ). Yes.......the Niagara area.
    Thanx in advance!

How about doing the Pond To Pond with her this year?

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

The St. Catharines CC has a great youth MTB development program with weekly rides led by certified coaches and other experienced riders: http://www.stcatharinescc.com/youthMTB.php

I encouraged my wife to go on of the WOW clinincs, and she came back with a such a huge confidence in her riding ability, we can ride more of the same trails now.
    Good luck!
