The guys have been out installing our new shiny signs and haven't been concerned about the trail conditions. Despite being clay, they stand up pretty well to rain, since they shed it pretty well. We'll be out building at 8am (best bet - meet at the Westernmost parking lot, not the Lakeside Pavilion where the fest is centred). Rides and clinics etc. start at 11am.

In Dundas, we actually didn't get all that much rain. Not so sure about Christie. If I hear more from the guys (out installing more signs) later today, I will post.

Latest report, hot off the presses (well, from a guy who is out there right now):
"Trails are tacky, I had more issues on the double track. If they stay dry tonight they'll be just fine for tomorrow."

Great day was had by all. Didn't even get to ride but the trails were solid and held up fine. Got the two reroutes on the black trail done as well as finishing the kids loop. It was on the map after all and had to get done. The rest of the trail crew had to carry me as I was coming off a week long stomach flu thing.

Seems like everyone had a good time. MEC seemed really happy with the turnout. Great to have more official trail in the Hamilton Area (with more to come). I am sure someone will post some pictures at some point.
