Team Van Go Fat Bike Destination Ride

    Date: February 16th, 2014 (Sunday)
    Ride Start Time: 10am
Ride Start Location: Dufferin Forest - Mansfield
Ride Finish Location: Alliston - Shoeless Joes
Ride Distance: 25km (Per the sign at the parking lot)
Ride Length: Could be 2hr, could be 3....
Ride Pace: As fast as the slowest rider

This will be another one of our destination rides, open to anyone with a fat bike. You could try on your normal bike, but may be very very tough.... We will be on the sled trails and hopefully not getting lost on our little route. Its really more of a reason to get out on the bikes, and a -12C day will make it all the more fun....

The plan is to meet and park at the Sled parking lot just north of the Mansfield Outdoors centre and head out. Bring a Wallet with you as our end destination will be lunch and beer at Shoeless Joes. Load up the bikes and shuttle back to the cars in Mansfield. We will have 1 pickup truck for shuttling bikes, so knowing numbers would be great, just to make sure if we need to grab another truck.

If you are planning on coming out, go to , and click on the contact us tab, and fire an email over to us and we can work out the shuttle back to where the cars are dropped.

Hope to see some folks out there!

    Cheers

Would have loved to make this ride but Sunday's booked up for me - for anyone else who's looking to ride and can't get out Sunday, there's a fat ride happening at the Barrie Admin trails for 11am Saturday morning. Unless Barrie gets significant snow the trails should be packed down enough for even skinny tires.

    Have a great ride!

We had an awesome ride today.
Only 3 of us rode it but hey, still conditions were perfect, sun came out on us, and the beer at the end was 100% worth it!!!
Our ride lasted just shy of 3 hours, and total distance came in at 28.8 km.
We did have a mid-point Scotch stop thanks to Mark!!!

I'll post up the next ride on here as well as the teamvango.ca website.
