Is that brew available at the beer store in ontario? I was in MTL a few weekends back and was disappointed not to find it in the couple convenience stores I checked. Baltika is also worth checking out, available at the LCBO in 500ml bottles - pretty good Russian beer...

most beer stores carry it. the lcbo once in a blue moon has the corked version... slim pickings most of the time.

you know, every time i look at this picture of the beer choices in quebec i cry a little...

La Fin du Monde is HORRID! a 12% beer should not exist... tastes like molasses.

Maybe it brings back bad memories though; I drank it the first time I got drunk (at a World Cup in Mt. St. Anne back in the early nineties). But I have had it once more since then and no change.

it's 9%, though not all the higher percentage beers are thick and heavy. all depends on your tastes in the end. but one thing i noticed that the in bottle brewed beers tend to give me less headaches even though they are a higher %
