waited for the rain to slow down, stopped at a local museum and checked it out...

digged the old log shaping axes...

farmer 29er...

old war artifacts...

the escarpment is beautiful...

cave! tight fit to get in...

chamber further in...

interesting sediment formations... was an old seabed along time ago...

no matter where you turned your head, there was something to look at.

awesome ride, much more to explore. ;)

The ride up the escarpment was a blast! The rocks were grippy despite all the rain. Exploring the caves was a thrill (although I did wonder if some creature might pounce) The descent was the pay off and topped the ride making up for Blue being closed.

Singlesprocket organized another fun ride for everyone:thumbsup:

most were open except the wall, shot glass, big sleeze, & waterfall. I just did laps on showcase and hoale and had a big finish wiping out on grab bag! wet leaves+wet clay+ steep section ahead made for some off of bike moments! I'm glad i got some runs but near the end when it was raining it got a little silly! looks like xc might have been the wiser choice, but I think maybe one more day this friday and I'll put the big boy bike to bed for the season, then the road and xc trails for me!
