    Sunday beer run

I rode over to Bellwoods Brewery on Ossington to pick up some beer. On the way home I decided to check out the Don. Don't know the trail names but I did the trail from Pottery along the ridge to Loblaws. Then down to the flats and took that to the park before heading home via Taylor Creek. Saw a few riders and got cheered on by a couple for riding the cross bike. Everyone was happy. Trails were perfect. Bone dry. Backpack full of beer made my first time on single track on that bike tricky.

Hmmm..... use of the terms 'beer run' and 'backpack full' implies at least 12 king cans or equivalent. [/makesmentalnotereamsterdam].

They sell their beer in 750ml (I think) bottles. They're putting out some really good quality stuff over there. Sadly they were sold out of my favourite, the Witchshark, but I got some Catlady IPA which is good too. I only recently found out about them so I'm not sure how long they've been there but anyone into craft beer should check them out.

    Awesome!
My beer runs are also on a Rocky Solo CX. Except they are usually to Indie Ale House. They have a Growler Club, if you are into great craft beer you should check it out. Way easier to transport too (no 'klinking') - think of a really mini keg. Last year they were big earthenware jugs. Not so easy to transport, but it didn't stop me.

As Kay eluded to you also passed right by Amsterdam Brewery - also a great brewery, often make a run there for pints after riding in the Don.

Toronto sure is a great City for riding and local beer!
