If you've got an interest in the status of the Seaton Hiking Trail management plan you can attend the upcoming public meeting for an update. Hopefully we'll hear definitively one way or the other the decision on mountain biking on the trail.

Monday, June 22nd, 7:00-9:00 pm at the Pickering Central Public Library, One The Esplanade, 2nd floor auditorium.

The Friends of the Seaton Hiking Trail will be reporting on the progress made towards a management plan to improve and maintain the trail for safe and enjoyable public use.

Please join the City of Pickering, the Toronto & Region Conservation Authority, the Ontario Realty Corporation and the Oak Ridges Trail Association for a format that will be “Open House” to hear about the current state of the trail, to view maps and photographs, and to offer comments on proposed trail routes.

Should you be unable to attend, you may contact the Oak Ridges Trail Association to receive ongoing information. 1-877-319-0285 or execdir@oakridgestrail.org

Also watch www.seatonhikingtrail.org which will be updated soon.
