I'll be there as always, with speakers cranking some good tunes....
Last year was a great event, Dan from Substance Projects did a great job.
Everyone should come out for this one to support him for sure!

I would have thought Unca Oggie would be all over this with a special custom made sausage suit for the gathering.

    Pre-rode the course last night.
Great job by dan as always on the trail selection.
Conditions in Mansfield are slowly becoming more mansfield-esc... finishing the ride with the white / dust sock lines.
Weather looks good for the weekend, should be a great time!

How do you guys get to pre-ride the course? Is Mansfield open to the public? Can one pre-ride on Friday, for example. Legally!

it's actually the dufferin forest about 1/2 km north of the outdoor centre at the top of the hill.
open year round to the public so yes it is legal.
just got back from preriding and the course is awesome.
it is also well marked with large red arrows.
to get to the start just go through bernies trail just south of the parking lot.
if your not familiar it's the tight twisty section with all the skinnys and it will take you right to the markers.

    Sausage Suit

As trail trash mentioned , the trails we ride aren't part of the outdoor centres system , so they are both legal & free.
(For now ! , please sign the online survey for dufferin forest. )
However they are also unmarked & unmapped , so you can either hire a local ( for beer ) , as a guide or you can do dans race & find some of the fun secret trails you'll never find on your own.
In these parts , " flow" means going over trees & rides always end with a beer socializing with new friends.
    Cheers,
    Bern.
    Ride a Santa Cruz heckler
And many part bikes : )

Bernie you forgot option 3. Go go ride there, explore, get lost, and then find your way back to your car.

Does anyone know what time the 30k relay starts? Do they start with the 30k riders at 1pm?

Race info including schedule (scroll down)

i don't know if this helps
i'm guessing it also starts at 1:00 with the rest of the 30km riders start
haven't had a chance to ride much yet so i'm just doing the 15 km
