That looks absolutely awesome. I was out early yesterday and with the cold temperature overnight, I expected things to be pretty firm. Conditions were quite varied. Some places still have some ice and snow, some places were getting soft and many places were downright sloppy. Got in about an hour and a half of riding and forty five minutes of washing down the bike. Took a nice tumble on one of those sloppy sections; got more dirty than hurt.

We bumbled around Joyride again on Saturday and it was packed (I understand that business is up over 40% over last March Break)! Two birthday parties and people jammed in everywhere. Lots of little kids (including ours) on run bikes - the new beginner area is turning out to be a huge hit.
Please enjoy seeing this terrible collection of me - something wonderful is about to happy.

Two ft of ice with a couple of inches of snow on top, just perfect here! My plan was to pick up the TCPipeline trail at the narrows between Gull & Silver Lakes and then loop home via TransCanada Trail but Bonnie was lovin' riding on the lake so much (her first time lake riding) we stuck with that....ideal conditions like this are rare enough!

I too had the whole family at joyride (first time for all of us) this weekend, although we were there on Sunday. The kids (3 and 5) absolutely loved it and so did I!
It got pretty hairy at times with all the moving bodies, but it seemed to come in waves. We did the morning and then were gone by 1:30, and there were more and more people pilling in the whole time.

We will be back for sure.

Joyride is best enjoyed after 7:00 pm I find. I don't have any kids.

It was indeed a nice sunny day for a fattyride on the beach ice. Even with the sun it was not as warm a the ride on a Florida beach the day before.
