As many of you know, this forum has had some issues lately and we have been searching for a local to help us keep the peace in here for quite some time. Often times it can be difficult to moderate a regional forum when none of the moderators or admins (self included) are familiar with the local issues, local people and the whole local "scene" in general. We are limited to enforcing the rules in black and white, thus the Zero-tolerance policy. This is not necessarily the best way to go and requires a lot of hands on attention.
It has become apparent over the months (and years) that there are (for all intensive purposes) two sides in opposition to each other, in here. I have asked Circlip to help keep the peace in here and he has generously agreed. He has given me full disclosure as to his own personal friendships and run-ins with users from both sides. So, while Circlip has been designated to "keep the peace" in here, we will still actively seek a co-mod from the opposite point of view.
I feel that with the right helpers in place, we can get this forum to a more productive place to learn and share. Let me remind EVERYONE that debates and differing opinions are okay, but flaming and flame-baiting are not.
Thanks in advance for you compliance with our forum rules ( Mtbr Posting Guidelines ) and help me welcome Circlip for stepping into the fire!
