    Picking an Albion Hills campsite..

..not for the 24 hour race

We're planning to go camping at Albion in early July with our extended family. There will be several kids between the ages of 2-14, and we would like to find a spot near where the kids races are traditionally held during the 24 hour events. From looking at the CHICO maps, I think I'd be looking at Deer Run (89-119 and 186-193) or Spruce Cove (138-148), but I don't know exactly which sites would be best. I'd love one that is pretty much right beside the easy singletrack the kids do.

If you have camped at one of these sites and can recommend it, I promise I'm not looking to scoop it for the 24 hour race, and you can PM the site number if you don't want to let a good thing out of the bag.

    Thanks.

How about a map with individual campsites for the main camping area? Anyone know where I could find one of those?

Thanks, I had found those two maps already. I'd like to see what campsites 89-119 and 138-148 (Spruce Cove and Deer Run) look like and get some idea of shade/shelter/size etc. We'll have 5 adults and six kids minimum for a few days, ages ranging from 2 to 70. Maybe the Sports Area would be good, I'm having trouble picturing it though.

Did anyone on this forum "camp" in sites 105-110 or 138-148 at the Summer Solstice? I don't need to know about drainage, but if you could tell me about size, shade, proximity to kid's course etc., it'd be much appreciated.
