    Perfect day for a ride

Excellent weather and the trails were in mint shape. Spent a few hours at Turkey Point.

    Perfect trail conditions

The TPMBC has been busy putting up trail signs.

TP trail conditions were golden yesterday. Great job to the TPMBC. I was riding the Fin & Feather trail and the loop just north of the swamp area. I would ride TP weekly if it woesn't a 1 hr. drive one way. I know there is supposed to km's of trails, but do they have any features like drops or jumps? If not, does anyone know if there are plans to build any features?

No drops or jumps, there are a few natural jumps in the trails though. No plans on building anything like that I know of, just lots of flowing singletrack.

I hate you all. This has been my hell for the past three glorious weekends. Why did I buy a 'new' house that was a 'handyman's' dream?

Save that stuff for rainy days, not too many prime days left for riding before the snow flies.

Working solo, with the weather we've been having, I still would't have lights in my washroom or a kitchen sink. Never mind walls.

Never rip apart a 70 year home without expecting to redo everything (which I expected, but it's hard to predict all he work)

Where did you buy? Westdale? Dundas? The Mountain?

Got out for my first ride in almost two months (since giving birth) - on the new wheels! Awesome! Almost like having a new bike, and Mr. Monster got the chain line pretty much perfect. Fitness levels were improved from pregnancy, but definitely down from pre-preggers. Felt like my first time riding a single speed. But also was completely awesome.

By strict definition, I guess I would say I am a downtown Hamiltonian, definitely in the 'west-end', but not technically a westdalian.

I should be at the point where there are no major jobs that require full weekend of attention. Bring on the good weather or Hilton falls.

Practically on top of it, but technically I roll with the East side people now.
