Just curious if anyone has been out here recently if the trails are suitable for riding or still too soft. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thx!

Walked in there last weekend. Double track has some pretty soft sections...believe it or not, still some snow lingering in places. Singletrack generally is better, but you have to get to it first.

Would love to hear if anyone can provide an update on conditions as I'm looking to get a ride in this Saturday at Palgrave, but don't want to be damaging the trails. Alternatively a Durham Forest conditions report would be great too!

Durham was deemed good enough to run the first Durham Thursday Night race so I'd wager a bet that it is half decent, it's pretty sandy in there so it drains well. I heard through a friend that Palgrave was rideable, but can't comment first hand.

I rode in there the other night...singletrack is pretty dry now. Some greasy sections in the double track still but improving daily.

Thanks for the responses folks. Looks like Durham will win out for this weekend and I'll hit Palgrave next weekend.
