    P2A training

I was just looking at last year's stats.
By this time of year I was getting over 150km a week in. I was riding after work in +1 to -2 temps. On Sunday the 10th it was 14 degrees.
From the look of the long range forecast it will be the 15th-16th before we hit 0 - and it's supposed to rain.
Rode Dundas Valley on Saturday and the hills were alarming - riding the trainer doesn't help much for that. Seems the weekend fat bike rides don't help enough either.

Oh...there is a way to basically do crash hill training to get the effect and leg strength. It is not recommended for the inexperienced.

On the positive side, the P2A is a couple of weeks later than usual and everyone else will be in the same boat...
    Strava made me do it....

Though in some ways this is kind of balancing things out. Last few winters have been good for riding. This year sucks so end up with a enforced training /riding austerity.
