OT: Provincial Elections Straw Poll!
While I'm fascinated by the thread about cleat position... I thought it would be fun to turn to a less contentious issue and talk politics as a change of pace.
Feel free to let your allegiances shine through, but this ain't your run-of-the-mill poll.
I want to know how you're voting not who you're voting.
I'm voting along party lines this time although technically, you could say I'm voting against a leader.
Please enjoy seeing this terrible collection of me - something wonderful is about to happy.
My general rule of thumb is that any party that is in power for more than a couple of terms gets complacent, corrupt and ineffective. Accordingly, I tend to vote against the incumbent every second or third election, just to keep everyone honest.
All three so-called leaders have annoyed me. If I do go vote, it'll be a vote for the true underdog.
Normally I vote for the party unless their candidate is a total nutjob, in which case I do a write-in. This time around I'm changing things up a bit - I'm voting for the candidate who gives me the best bribe.
"the vinyl basement"
ndp = A day without crashes I promise.
lib = More singletrack, but you have to pay for it.
pc = Less singletrack, cancel contracts to build more trails.
green = Stuff that grows on the side of all single track.
Uh, why isn't voting for the winner of the kitten eating contest a choice?
Never talk about what you make or pay in taxes
Never talk about what religion you practice
Never talk about who you vote for.
Sound advice from Grandad.
